Terms and conditions
These terms are an agreement between you and Benjamin Simon Grech trading as Pondly (ABN 73 894 715 035), which runs Pondly ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying a pass, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Pondly.
1. What Pondly is
Pondly is an interview-practice service. An AI interviewer asks you questions on data science, machine learning and AI topics, responds to your reasoning, offers hints, and writes a debrief with ratings and feedback at the end of each question.
2. Your account
You need an account to practise. You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email.
- Keep access to your email and Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to them can sign in to Pondly as you.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it or your pass.
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to create an account or buy a pass.
- Give us an email address you can receive mail at, so we can reach you about your account.
3. Passes and payment
A pass gives you unlimited practice for as long as it runs. All prices are in Australian dollars.
- Sprint: A$29 one-off, 14 days of unlimited practice.
- Monthly: A$39 a month, unlimited practice, every month.
- Interview crunch: A$49 one-off, 30 days of unlimited practice.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your pass starts as soon as payment is confirmed.
4. Monthly renewals and cancelling
The Monthly pass renews automatically each month and charges the card on file until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account menu (Manage subscription). Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Sprint and Interview crunch are one-off payments. They don't renew and end automatically when their time is up.
If we ever change the price of the Monthly pass, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you choose.
5. Fair use
"Unlimited" means you can practise as much as you like within fair use: up to 15 questions a day, which resets at midnight Sydney time. The limit stops automated or abusive use and keeps the service running well for everyone.
6. Refunds
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If Pondly has a major failure, you're entitled to a refund or another remedy under that law.
[Your refund promise. A suggested version: "If you change your mind, we'll refund a pass in full if you ask within 7 days of buying it and haven't started a question." Otherwise, change-of-mind refunds aren't offered.]
To ask for a refund, email bengrech888@gmail.com.
7. Using Pondly fairly
The question bank is what makes Pondly a real test, so please don't:
- copy, publish, share or sell the questions, the interviewer's replies or the feedback;
- use bots, scripts or scrapers to access Pondly, or collect its content in bulk;
- try to manipulate the AI interviewer into revealing its instructions or behaving outside its purpose;
- share your account or pass, or let anyone else use it;
- interfere with the service, its security, or other people's use of it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close your account for a serious breach, we won't refund the remaining time on your pass, except where the law requires it.
8. Content and ownership
Pondly's questions, interviewer, feedback, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Your pass lets you use them for your own personal interview preparation.
Your answers are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run your sessions, show you your history, and improve Pondly, including reviewing conversations to check and improve the quality of the interviewer. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle them.
9. AI feedback
The interviewer, its hints and its debriefs are generated by AI. They're practice feedback: helpful, but they can be wrong, and they aren't professional, career or technical advice. Pondly can't guarantee any interview result or job offer. Use your own judgment, especially on technical facts.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Pondly running, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems with our providers. We may change, add or remove features and questions as Pondly develops. If a change takes away something you've paid for, we'll make it right, for example with a pro-rata refund.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as missing out on a job.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Pondly at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing bengrech888@gmail.com. We can suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections on ownership, liability and governing law continue after the agreement ends.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Pondly after that, the new terms apply.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. Questions about these terms: bengrech888@gmail.com.
